Nicholas Laramee, MPH, is a communicable disease epidemiologist with experience in infectious disease surveillance, outbreak response, and public health program evaluation. Most recently, he worked with Boulder County Public Health supporting communicable disease investigations and response activities in Colorado. His work has included outbreak investigations, case reporting, and applied epidemiologic research related to emerging infectious diseases and vaccine-preventable illnesses. Prior to this, Nick was a CSTE Applied Fellow at the Colorado Department of Public Health where he worked in the Zoonoses and One Health Program and the Foodborne, Enteric, Waterborne, and Wastewater Diseases Program, while providing surge capacity in other communicable disease programs.
Nicholas earned his Master of Public Health from Emory University with a focus on infectious diseases and humanitarian emergencies. His professional interests include infectious disease epidemiology, emergency response, and strengthening public health systems through evidence-based practice and field investigation.
