Implementing Primary Health Camps in South KP, Pakistan

IGH is implementing primary health camps in 7 union councils of South Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan (South KP) in coordination with the Prime Foundation. To date, a total of 140 health camps have been conducted, vaccinating 1,204 children with routine immunization vaccines, administering 1,234 doses of oral polio vaccine (OPV), and providing antenatal care and vaccinations to more than 220 women. In addition to the health camps, community volunteers led outreach sessions to the community, where a further 1,593 children received routine vaccinations, 1,498 OPV doses were administered, and 15 additional women of childbearing age received the tetanus vaccine. IGH and Prime Foundation are also refurbishing essential healthcare centers located in the union councils, to improve healthcare service delivery.
