Divya Nagpal
Public Health Analyst
Divya is a public health professional who received dual Bachelor’s degrees in Community Health and English Literature from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and has a Master of Public Health in Global Health Management and Policy from the University of Michigan. She has lived, studied, or worked in India, Myanmar, Ethiopia, Australia, and in several states in the U.S. She has worked in many areas of public health such as maternal and child health, migrant health, indigenous health, and COVID-19 response. For the last 10 years she has consulted for a myriad of companies and agencies including UNOPS, IOM, UNESCO, and most recently CDC Foundation at an IHS facility managing COVID response for an indigenous tribe in South Dakota. She speaks fluent Hindi and loves to dabble in other languages wherever she goes. She is a passionate advocate for sustainable long-term development and for a future in which resources and opportunities are distributed equitably across continents and communities.
