Integral Global Health’s Director Nabil Ahmed and Public Health Associate Jenna Buttolph collaborated with Dr. Ziad Kazzi, Associate Professor from Emory University’s Department of Emergency Medicine, to conduct an outbreak investigation workshop for physicians in Tbilisi, Georgia. IGH had great participation from very talented medical students, epidemiologists, and clinical physicians in-country. This workshop was combined with the Recognition and Initial Management of Illness Clusters (RIMIC) course taught the day before the outbreak investigation workshop. Integral is excited to continue its support to Georgia to deliver more regional trainings in the near future!
